I feel that I have the right to make this post because I have both attended college as well as a "trade school". I attended a small college in Michigan for three years. I've always been one of those people who hates deadlines as well as school work. I like to pick my own time to do things, and I do a lot better under pressure. As a result, I discontinued going to college and went to school to be a cosmetologist. In a lot of cases, going to a "trade school" is looked down upon. What a lot of people don't realize, is that you are earning college credit hours the whole time you are in a "trade school". In one year of cosmetology classes, I earned 40 credit hours that can be transferred to any college. I also get looked down upon for "just being a hairdresser". I am not "just a hairdresser". I am an artist. People are my canvas. I have learned chemistry, the science of electricity, how to balance pH levels, human anatomy. There is a lot that goes in to being a cosmetologist. You have to learn what chemicals react with each other to produce desirable or undesirable results. If a client is taking medications, you must learn which astringents will react poorly with their skin. I am not "just a hairdresser", I am a professional in skin, and nail diseases, a chemist, and an artist. The same thing goes for mechanics. They have to learn exactly how to fix things. They are surgeons of mechanics. You wouldn't go to just any person for brain surgery, just like you wouldn't go to just any person to fix your car or mechanical device.
What I can't stand, is the people who just sit around all day and have minimum wage jobs at a fast food restaurant or something else and say that "they have a hard time getting by". Well, maybe you should have tried to improve yourself.

Shock Horror/"Snuff"/Gore Films
Just to start out, I have seen my share of horror films. Mostly classics: Hellraiser, Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween, Friday the 13th, ect, along with their remakes. In this generation, I feel that films are being made now just for "shock value". I have done a review on "The Human Centipede: First Sequence" directed by Tom Six. While this is typically a "shock horror" film which I have seen a few times and thoroughly enjoyed it, it isn't necessarily gory. There are one or two scenes that make you cringe, for example, the middle link of the centipede ripping an IV from her arm, but it's mostly the thought of the events in the movie happening to you personally which make you sick. Tom Six's next film, "Human Centipede: Full Sequence" he made solely to outdo his first film. Now, i haven't seen this film, but from reviews, it definitely fits the category of a "shock film". I guess I just don't understand the point of "gross out films". I always thought that horror films were for scare, to make you sit on the edge of you seat, not to make you vomit. Yes, i did write a few paragraphs on "Slaughtered Vomit Dolls" directed by Lucifer Valentine. After reading the reviews this movie sounded so disgusting that i would never want to watch it. Yes, it does give some insight to the director's life, but you really have to dig. There is a lot of artistry behind the general theme of the movie, however, I don't understand who would want to watch someone vomit everywhere unless you are in fact an emetephile. Many of Eli Roth films are "shock horror" with absolutely no point behind them, such as Hostile. It's just my opinion, but I generally watch a horror film for the "edge of your seat" mystery and thrill behind it. I really don't see a point in watching bloody almost real films, or "snuff" type films that are supposed to look like an actual murder on tape. August Underground's series is a great example of a "snuff type film".
As I've stated, I have seen the remakes of the classic horror films. A Nightmare on Elm Street directed by Samuel Bayer was brilliant. It gives you the insight to Freddie's revenge that you never would have known by watching the amazing version done by Wes Craven. I think the new version gives a great twist onto what was left a mystery in the classic. Friday the 13th directed by Marcus Nispel was in my opinion, horrible. There was way too much nudity, which took away from the film. I feel as though this should have stuck to the classic, where Jason's mother is the killer. I must applaud Mr. Rob Zombie for his excellent remake of Halloween. The beginning of the film gives you great insight to the past of young Michael Meyers, and also explains the mask in which he wears.
All of these films to show a "gore element", however it doesn't take away from the film. It isn't overpowering at all. I would also like to make a special standing ovation to Mr. Rob Zombie on his films "House of 1000 Corpses" and "The Devil's Rejects". Both of these films were twisted but not overpowering with gore. Rob Zombie has a way of mastering his films so that they are dark, leaving the gore in tact but not to the point where it's sickening. I have heard excellent reviews about his 2012 film, "Lords of Salem" and am very excited about seeing it. What also helps these films out is his great cast. Sid Haig always has his comical moments, i love Bill Mosely, and his ever popular, as well as hot wife, Sherri Moon.

Posting Pictures With "Wow I'm So Ugly" Captions Online
So i've noticed through my memberships on a multitude of different social networking sites, that girls will post pictures of themselves with the caption "wow this is ugly" or "wow i look ugly" or something along the lines of that. Are you fucking serious? If you thought the picture was ugly, why would you post it? Have a little self respect instead of trying to get attention with these pathetic captions. All they really want is some desperate guy to come out and say "oh my god!!! You look sooooooo pretty!!! This isn't ugly!!!" It's ridiculous. Girls who post this should probably just go kill themselves cause no one fucking cares.

Posting Trashy Pictures Online
So, everyone has a certain reputation that takes a lifetime to build. That can be torn down in two seconds. Example A, posting naked pictures online, texting them to someone, ect. The worst is when you're a 50 year old woman who is fat, and you're posting pictures of yourself in the smallest shirt you can squeeze into and you have your tits popping out all over the place. Then, you go as far as trying to make an explaination for it and saying, "it's not trashy, I'm a BBW, and I am comfortable with my body." You may be a "BBW" but wear that shit in the bedroom for your man, don't run around like a trashy whore posting pictures of your fat flabs. Newsflash, not everyone is into huge women. Not everyone wants to see that. Do us all a favor and cover up. and just so you're aware, you aren't posting that shit because you're "comfortable with your body". You're posting it because you have a very low self esteem and want someone to tell you that you're hot. The key to beauty is accentuating your good parts and taking away from your flaws. When you post garbage like this, you're just drawing more attention to your flaws. Would you really want your kids seeing something like this? Gain a little respect for yourself. A bigger woman who has self respect is a lot more attractive than some fatass running around online letting all her shit hang out. Sick.

The World Against Christianity
Is it just me or is the world leaning more and more toward a Muslim lifestyle? Back when our country was first established, we were "one nation under God". When I was in elementary school, we said the pledge of allegiance with this exact line in it. Now, it's not mandatory anymore. What is this now? "One nation under the law?" When I was growing up, we always had a "Christmas break" and "school Christmas parties" and everyone would walk around saying "Merry Christmas". What's up with all of this "Happy Holidays" bullshit. You say "Merry Christmas" to someone and they look at you like its a crime. There's not TV shows on about the Muslim religion, yet, if there were shows about the Christian religion, it'd be like a huge slap on the wrist. OH MY GOD!!! THAT CAN'T BE SHOWN ON TV!!! Like it's sooooo bad. Personally, I am open to all, even though I have a strong Lutheran Missouri Synod background, but still, it infuriates me that, everything that I was built on now seems like the "cursed religion". Everything should be equal. I think that maybe since the Arabs bombed us, this is just a way to make the ones who live in America feel a little bit better about what their people did. Just a thought.

Use Of the "N" Word
So everyone who is somewhat intelligent knows that this word dates all the way back to when slavery was legal...long, LONG ago. And, if you don't know which word I'm talking about, well, you shouldn't be reading this anyway. The point is, it dates back to when slavery was legal.
Slave owners used to call their slaves "nigger". Everyone knows this, and if you don't then you're just a fucking dumbass and you should know this. Well, all this word means is "ignorant".
The funny thing to me is that someone who is black can walk around all day saying "nigger this, nigger that, yo nigger," and it's completely normal. But, the second someone who isn't black pulls it out, all the "homies" "cock their 9's." If you ask a black person what makes this acceptable, they will tell you that they are saying "nigga" which is different because of the a on the end, and that it's okay from one black person to another because they're doing it in a joking manner. Well, what if a white person was joking? It just doesn't make sense. I thought everyone was equal. At least, that's what my mama always taught me.
Personally, if I want to call someone ignorant, I will call someone ignorant, and i'll do it in what ever manner I damn well please. I've met many white people who are ignorant.
This brings me to another point that I would love to bring up, while we're on the subject of equal rights. Why don black people get all these special little groups, like the NAACP, which is basically the KKK of black people, with special benefits that are more often than not, monetary. Is it because they're more likely to get AIDS or be Aenimic? Or, maybe it's because most of the women don't know who their "baby daddy" is. There's a very simple solution to these issues:
1.Get tested.-There are free clinics for this. Make your partners get tested. Duh. You can't see AIDS on the outside.
2. Don't be a fuckin whore.-It's easy, just don't sleep with everyone and their brother. It's just trashy and that's how you lose track of who is fathering your kid.
3. If you have to be a whore, use some kind of goddamn protection.
I wouldn't have gotten fucked out of scholarships for college if i were full black, because they hand them out to them like they've earned it, even if their grade point averages aren't up to par. Ridiculous.
My last point is: if there was a group like the NAACP for white people, that would just be considered racist. This is all coming from someone who is 1/4 black, and I think it's some goddamn bullshit.

Putting Personal Information on the Internet
Honestly, when you log on to facebook or myyearbook, people want to see something interesting, such as, you're shopping with your best friend and bought the cutest purse. People don't want to hear about the fact that you're pregnant and that you're getting an abortion. People don't want to hear about who you sent to jail the night before, or how bad your boyfriend beat you up last weekend. That is the reason that diaries are made. What your friends want to read about are inside jokes that were made up that day. They don't want to hear all the inky details about the fight that you and your mom just got into and what a bitch she is. It's SOCIAL NETWORKING. It's used to catch up with people and share small pieces of your day. To ask a friend how they are if they're sick. To let people know if you're not going to be in class or at work.
Let me make this point. In the "face to face world" you wouldn't go up to someone and say "hey I'm Samantha, I'm currently pregnant and have to get an abortion. It sucks." Seriously? Keep personal things personal.
Furthermore, if you do in fact decide to post personal bullshit on a social networking site, don't be surprised when people make "what the fuck" comments on it. When they do, you should probably learn from your mistakes instead of going off on that person who made the comment by calling them a bitch. In return, they're just going to call you trashy, and there's nothing you can say against that because you know it's true.
Let me put it to you this way. I come home from a long tiring day in class. I have homework to do. Before I do my homework, I like to check facebook and see what all of my friends are up to. Drop one of my classmates a line if they weren't in class to tell them what they missed. Maybe say hi to a few family members. i don't want my newsfeed blowing up with drama like "oh my god my boyfriend just kicked in my car window and the police came and he got arrested and he tried to rape me oh my god oh my god." that's just called someone trying to get others to feel bad for them, and guess what people, it's fucking pathetic.
